One of the best charter boats in the marina had a few last minute cancellations and is offering the boat at $1500..instead of $1750…for any of these days February 10, 11, 12 and 13. if you are interested let me know they will not last long.
February 5, 2010 – sailfish bite steady
The weather near Los Suenos has been 90 degrees and sunny everyday and the sailfish bite continues to be steady…it hasn’t blown up like yet like we are expecting but everyone I talked to caught 5 to 10 sailfish today.
The guys on the 32′ Irwin Forbes released 7 sailfish.
The guys on the 28′ Carolina Classic released 8 sails today.
My buddy on a 53′ private boat had 5 sails before noon…not sure where they ended up at the end of the day. Those boys were eating steak and shrimp grilled right on the back of the boat and catching fish…oh the good life.
Zero Stress Fly Fishing Tournament
This week Aqua Adventures Panama hosted the Zero Stress Fly Fishing Tournament in Panama. The participating anglers were Wayne Cecil, Lynn Gregory, Mike Trotter, Phil Dattilo, Bob Blair, and Fern Elufson. Today Harry Mason from Key West Florida, switched from the Monkey Business to our 31 Jupiter the Furioso.
The water was rough in the morning and leveled out a bit in the afternoon. Despite these unusual conditions for this part of Guatemala they still were able to raise 20 sailfish with 16 bites and 12 releases. They also had a marlin come up…
