And yes, you will have to work for it! Assorted metal & plastic/rubber like a Calcutta Split Tail were successful yesterday and the teaser is still pretty much mandatory gear. Rain gear will be a good idea today – Occasional rain. A slight chance of thunderstorms this afternoon. Breezy with highs in the lower 60s. South winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
Mike says he will be able to get that lovely 11'-9" (#1418) blank that has been so popular. The problem is we need to order a bunch of them at once. Interested? Email, call or stop in and see Mike about them. We get enough orders, we will get them in for you!
Just remember to talk real slow with mike! Keep the pace slow enough for him to keep up with you.
What?????????He really must be sick
The no. 1418 11' 9" is probably the best all around bait slinger available today. It will throw anything from a clam to half a bunker. If you were thinking of a new bait rod for the spring bunker run this one would be a great choice. I am also starting to run low on the 10' Seeker pencil popping prototype. If you had one in mind stop and see me.
Big Daddy Ed stopped in last night with a 28 1/2" 7.5 lb bass he caught on a shad. Said the shads worked well yesterday. Maybe the peanuts have finally started to move……………….Mike
